First of all, I want to clarify that this review is not about the spa, which was the only positive aspect of our stay. Specifically, I'd like to highlight the excellent work of Momo and Leni! Upon our arrival, we were greeted by our island host, Mahmoud. However, he was unaware of the spa treatments my wife had booked six months prior to our holiday. In our opinion, he didn’t seem to care much or try to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, this lack of attention seemed to be a recurring theme among many staff members at this resort. Mahmoud was disorganized and didn’t respond to our messages for hours. When he showed us to our "Sunrise Ocean Villa," we quickly realized it was neither a "sunrise" nor "sunset" villa. On the terrace, we noticed a large rock barrier blocking the view. We immediately voiced our concerns about the villa (which some might understand, and others may not), as it was not what we had expected. We had made specific room requests six months in advance, just like the spa treatment booking. Our island host told us that there was nothing he could do but would arrange a meeting with a manager. However, as mentioned earlier, we received no response until the evening. We decided to go to the reception and speak directly to a manager. He suggested that there might be an option to switch to a sunset villa or a three-bedroom sunset villa the following day. While this wasn’t ideal, we initially agreed. We were told we would be informed by 12 pm the next day, but once again, no one reached out. As a result, we had to visit the reception once more to speak with the manager. This time, he offered us the three-bedroom sunset villa, which we declined, insisting instead on a sunrise villa. Only when we mentioned seeing other guests checking in and out of the possible villas did the manager take us seriously. He finally arranged for us to move to a new "Sunrise Ocean Villa." Unfortunately, the service and behavior of the island host, manager, and reception staff were far from friendly or helpful. On our last day, we had a beach villa booked. The evening before, we received a message that the room change would occur at 2:30 pm. However, no one showed up at the scheduled time, so we called the reception. They seemed surprised and told us they would pick us up in 15-20 minutes. After waiting 40 minutes, making several unanswered calls, and seeing housekeeping waiting outside (who was clearly frustrated as well), I had to go to the reception again. After a few minutes there, we finally managed to arrange the room change. Overall, the service did not meet the standards you would expect from a five-star resort like Radisson and we lost a huge amount of Holiday time by organizing our wishes. A few additional points to mention: - The food is very expensive, and most of it tastes like fast food. - At breakfast, you have to order warm scrambled eggs because the ones on the buffet are already cold. - There are no bikes available for use on the island
